Vinea Énergie

Based in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the company offers wine growers an eco-responsible alternative to manage their wine waste while reducing their impact on the environment.

Vinea Énergie's operational approach is based on the collection, evacuation and recycling of wine-growing waste such as vine stumps. Rather than burning them in the open air, a practice harmful to air quality and the emission of fine particles, the company transforms this waste into resources.

On its processing platforms, located in the heart of the vineyards, Vinea Énergie recycles wine waste into wood energy and organic mulch. This approach not only contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and air pollutants, but also to promoting a circular and local economy.

Since its creation, the company has collected 5,373 tonnes of vine stocks, thus producing 29,881 MWh of energy and avoiding the emission of 4,739 tonnes of CO2eq. The company's ambition is to create a new national sector for the recovery of wine waste.
