The Adecco Group

The Adecco Group is committed to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals enacted by the UN. A long-time member of the Global Compact, it adopts an organization and work practices that defend the universal principles of human rights and fight against corruption. In France, the CSR strategy has been built in conjunction with the expectations of all stakeholders (permanent and temporary employees, candidates, customers, suppliers, institutions and civil society). It is based on three pillars, broken down into five strong thematic commitments. Each of the actions respects a symmetry of attention between the stakeholders.

The Adecco Group deploys the employability of its permanent, temporary and consultant employees and guarantees them a working environment that respects their well-being, health and safety ;

For the Adecco Group, this means anticipating changes in the professions, adapting skills and jointly imagining solutions with teams, customers and partners so that the transformations at work today are operate in a sustainable manner ;

- Commit to a united and sustainable society

Convinced that work is a key factor of social integration, the Adecco Group is committed to promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion and to employing all talents. It is also mobilizing to preserve the integrity of its ecosystem and to act in favor of the energy transition.

● Appropriate governance

The Social and Environmental Impact Department, represented on the Comex, ensures the governance of social and environmental issues for the entire Group and its subsidiaries. A steering and coordination body brings together the CSR referents of the subsidiaries and operational departments every quarter, for a uniform and shared dissemination of roadmaps and practices.

● Historic commitment to diversity and inclusion

Aware that work is a key factor in social integration, the Adecco group promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion for all, making the refusal of discrimination a professional requirement and guaranteeing its clients and candidates non-discriminatory practices. It acts on a daily basis for access to employment for all.

● Strong environmental policy

Convinced that there is no economic performance without social and environmental performance, the Adecco Group is committed to the climate. In accordance with the Paris Agreement, the group announced in 2019 its commitment to contribute to the challenges of carbon neutrality by 2030 by following a path of decarbonization of its activities. This ambitious project, entitled "Carbone zéro", involves reducing CO₂ emissions by at least 50% in the main areas (in particular mobility, purchasing and digital). This environmental policy is based on five pillars:

- Measure CO₂ emissions each year, to meet regulatory requirements and above all to monitor progress, verify the achievement of objectives and monitor the group's low-carbon trajectory;

- Train each employee who wishes, by giving everyone the keys to understanding climate issues and the Group's environmental policy: Climate fresco, 2-tonne workshop, "Climate future" webinar, specialized MOOC;

- Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2030 thanks to action plans targeting the most emissive items: employee travel, digital technology, electricity consumption, sorting and waste reduction;

- Contribute positively to carbon neutrality by supporting projects with a positive impact on the climate. The Adecco group works with several expert offset project partners, including Carbonapp, who identify relevant projects and ensure their implementation, monitoring and measurement of the associated carbon impact. Three types of projects are mainly supported: planting orchards, reforestation actions and agroecology projects. These projects promote support for local employment, the protection of biodiversity and the safeguarding of agricultural sectors;

- Communicate with customers, temporary workers, candidates, suppliers and the general public on commitments, action plans and progress in environmental policy.
