The Forest Expertise and Management Firm was created in 1948 by Charles CHAVET, succeeded by his sons, Michel and Pierre. The Firm was split into two branches.
The MICHEL CHAVET Firm's mission is forest management, forest expertise, profitability calculations, and advice on buying and selling forests.
It is able to provide, upon request, professional training in certain areas related to forest economics and finance.
The Michel CHAVET Firm's office operates with two employees: Hubert PRUVOST, Forest Engineer and Forest Expert, and Anne PENIN who holds a master's degree in German.
It has a geographic information system managed, between two trips to the field, by Hubert PRUVOST who keeps the software up to date and provides the Firm's IT know-how. Anne PENIN manages the administrative part of the Firm.
