Examples: reducing the frequency of soil cultivation, minimalist plot preparation, restoring organic matter and preserving soil microfauna.
Examples: reduction in the use of chemical mineral fertilizers, phytosanitary products, measurement of crop needs in real time via predictive tools.

This farmer has a diversified farm, and has been committed to reducing the use of synthetic fertilizers for several years in response to economic and environmental concerns. As part of the current project, the farmer wishes to take this approach a step further and implement additional
levers on his farm. By changing its practices, the farm will avoid the emission of 106 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year, i.e. 515 tonnes over the 5 years of the project*.
-Reducing the amount of mineral nitrogen applied to crops : better optimization of inputs, less volatile forms of nitrogen, decision-support tools, adjustment of yield targets...
-Increase in permanent cover : This technique makes it possible to increase the organic nitrogen produced by shredding intercrops, thereby reducing the amount of mineral nitrogen applied to crops. In addition, keeping the soil permanently covered improves soil structure, notably by encouraging water infiltration and retention during heavy rainfall.
-Rotation and crop rotation modification
* The final value of the estimate will only be established after verification by an independent auditor and an administrative verification decision.
