Examples: reducing the frequency of soil cultivation, minimalist plot preparation, restoring organic matter and preserving soil microfauna.
Examples: diversity and locality of crop species, preservation of habitat for local flora and fauna, presence of beehives for pollination.
Pépinières Naudet is one of the main French producers of young forest plants, which are planted all over France.

This project is located in Lerzy in the Aisne department. Afforestation will take place on agricultural land that is currently underused. This afforestation project will create 6.9 hectares of forest, using a diverse mix of tree species. Planting is scheduled for the winter of 2024-2025 and will sequester 1929 tonnes of CO2eq over 30 years*.
Biodiversity : 7 different species have been selected for this afforestation: sessile oak, chestnut, pedunculate oak, sycamore maple, pubescent oak, wild cherry and black walnut. The species chosen have been designed to withstand global warming while being adapted to current conditions. 100% of the woodland is therefore made up of broadleaved trees. What's more, the project will have no impact on the existing forest edges, while at the same time extending the adjacent woodland.
Soil conservation : The plot will only be worked along the tree planting line.
* The final value of the estimate will only be established after verification by an independent auditor and an administrative decision on verification.
