Reforestation of 1.4 ha in Gironde
This project involves replanting 1.4 hectares of a forest stand damaged by a windstorm. The stand was impacted by Storm Amélie, which struck the region on November 3, 2019. Reforestation will be carried out using maritime pine with the goal of producing timber. A total of 2,221 trees will be replanted.
Socio-economic: The proper management of this forest will be ensured by PEFC sustainable management certification.
Biodiversity: Reforestation will be highly targeted and will not impact trees within the project area.
Soil Preservation: Soil preparation will be minimal, limited to the planting row.
